What?   Luna tells Usagi that she’s been busy searching for the “Moon Princess.” Usagi, confused as always, thinks she said “Moon Pudding.”

GIMME!  MOON PUDDING.

It is important to keep in mind that Japanese pudding (プリン）is very different from regular American pudding, tapioca pudding, or bread-pudding.  They are actually referring to caramel custard, aka flan. And…I just…I mean…look at when you google image this stuff.  How can you not want to eat this?  Add some moon shaped cookies and serve it in a glass bowl.

Rakuten of course has tons, often with rabbit prints.  I’m not sure how shipping works out with global service but all are priced under $10.

Amazon has a few, like this cute pink chrysanthemum print but they are really pricey (over $25).

If all else, you can always use a pink bandana or a square piece of cloth that you own.  Instructions on folding are easy to find but furoshiki.com is a good place to start.

What?   Bunny sugar cookies, to bake on a gloomy day.  This is my *favorite* Sailor Moon movie.  I lost my copy so I just looked around for pictures of the cookies. 

GIMME!  

You need:

1. Bunny cookie cutter with a floppy ear, like this one from Rakuten or this one from Amazon.

They have molded cookie cutters too, in Miffy shape.

2. Heart shaped cookie cutter.

3. Basic baking ingredients like flour, baking soda, baking powder, butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and an egg

4. Rolling pin, baking sheet, and a cooking rack

When I first posted this photo, I thought this beautiful Heart shaped tea set was the best. But, for something more practical, I’d prefer a mug.

Season Episode 32: Series Episode 78 -「ヴィーナス美奈子のナース大騒動」 or “Venus Minako’s Nurse Mayhem”

What? Nurse Aino Minako’s special okayu (rice porridge, aka congee)! Ahahaha one of the funniest episodes ever.  Rice porridge is bland, easy to swallow and hot so people often serve it for sick people who have a hard time eating. However, this episode takes place around Christmas time and right now summer is creeping in….so, it might be too hot for this season.

GIMME!  

1.  Short grained rice (aka Japanese, Korean rice)

What? Hot cakes! Hot cakes, Chibi-Usa’s favorite food, are similar to regular American pancakes but they tend to be thicker and sweeter.
